From WWII Veteran Richard Zimmerman

re: WWII Honor Flight October 26, 2011 Myrtle Beach, SC.

To All Involved:

Words cannot describe the joy and appreciation that we Veterans have for all that your organization, the sponsors, the fund raisers, volunteers, adults and children of Myrtle Beach, the Washington personnel, the Airline, and the Media have done for us. It is beyond comprehension that this trip could have been any better. It is A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY for all of us and will be treasured forever. Today we get discouraged by the State of our Country and lose hope at times, but when you look into the faces of those smiling little children, the young people present, and cheering adults shaking your hands, we know the future will prevail in the Spirit of what all Veterans hoped and fought for over the years. Please convey our utmost gratitude to all the people involved and I say in bold terms from all of us:

WELL DONE MYRTLE BEACH!
